The Absinthe Serpis Classic comes from Spain and has a blood-red color. It has a mild aniseed flavor and tastes only slightly by wormwood. This absinthe is considered extremely high, because its manufacturing process is very complex. It is not macerated, but distilled. The wormwood is added not as essence but as the whole plant. The Serpis Absinthe Classic is in spite of its red color only conditionally suited for cocktails, because it also has a higher anise content.
