Absinthe Holy Shit comes from Germany and is produced by the distillery Deheck. Deheck distills its spirits in Rheinhessen, more precisely in the town of Gau-Odernheim. In addition to Absinthe Holy Shit, they also produce liqueurs and other spirits. These have, in contrast to the Absinthe Holy Shit, which has a comparatively mild 55% vol. Alcohol comes up to 89.9% vol. Alcohol. But somehow the taste is always important. After all, in pure theory, you could dilute a very alcoholic Absinthe to your favorite level with ice-cold water during preparation. Absinthe Holy Shit has a slightly greenish color and opalesces rather medium when you add ice-cold water in a ratio of 1:3 - 1:4. No bitterness actually occurs with this absinthe, so even a sugar cube can be safely omitted. As for the taste, it can be said that a fennel-heavy flavor can be detected here, with the wormwood being more palatable in the background. It comes across as smooth and is thus suitable as an everyday absinthe. A brown colored apothecary bottle, sealed with a wooden cork, serves as the packaging. We would rank the Holy Shit Absinthe from Germany in the upper mid-range, considering the products of the whole absinthe world. It is definitely worth a test.
